Welcome to Santiago. Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and privately escorted to your hotel to settle in.
At a proper time, you will be picked up from your hotel in Santiago and escorted to the airport to board your next flight to Puerto Montt.

Upon arriving in Puerto Montt, you will be picked up and transferred for 1.5 hours to your hotel in Puerto Varas, Chile’s Lake District.
Experience lush evergreen forests and abundant wildlife in today's full-day hike through the Alerce Andino National Park. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken along the coastal edge of Puerto Montt, crossing the Carretera Austral until you reach the Alerce Andino National Park, a temperate rainforest that covers an area of 39,255 ha (97,002 acres).

Here you will get to enjoy the serenity and solitude of nature as you trek along an astonishing trail through a forest of ‘Canelo’ trees and continue towards the Chaica River’s waterfall, passing through lush green areas filled with larch trees, ferns and lichens. You will even get the opportunity to pass by the park’s ‘Millennial Larch’, a monumental 2000-year-old tree.

Along the way, keep an eye out for the native wildlife such as Chilean deer, Pumas, guiñas (a wild cat) as well as Magellanic woodpeckers, kingfishers, and the Harris ́s hawk to name a few. Before returning along the same path, you will stop and enjoy your boxed lunch and admire the surrounding nature, then, meet your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Today’s full-day journey will allow you to discover a cultural route that links different communities along a road that runs the length of the East Coast of Chiloe Island, ‘the island of myths and legends’. You will be picked up from your hotel and transported through the culturally rich villages of Quemchi, Aucar, Colo, Tenaun, and Dalcahue. Notice how each of the villages, which are geographically closely related, boast their own fascinating singular identity and air of mystery. As you travel along this heritage route, the islands, volcanoes and mountains will serve as a backdrop to the colorful timber churches, stilted houses and vibrant markets dotted throughout each small village. Once you are done on this unique archipelago you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Today's half-day journey will take you through the western part of Puerto Varas and towards the Osorno Volcano along the shore of Lake Llanquihue and ultimately to the city’s very first Brewpub. After being picked up from your hotel you will make your way to Ensenada and begin your ascend to the Osorno Ski Center (1.240m/4068ft) where you will be able to take some pictures and enjoy a unique, breathtaking view of the summit of the volcano with its snow-white cap of eternal snow. From here you will make your way to Puerto Varas and towards the Malta Chocolate Brewery, the city’s first Brewpub. Here you will learn all there is to know about the traditional way to brew beer while also getting to taste 3 world-class craft beer varieties. Enjoy your newly found love for beer while embracing the picturesque views of the Osorno Volcano, Calbuco Volcano and of course the majestic Llanquihue Lake.
