In the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the city of El Alto, the youngest city in Bolivia. You'll get to explore the streets and avenues of this vibrant city, filled with unique brick constructions and futuristic 'Rocket Architecture.'
Next, you'll embark on an aerial adventure on the world's highest urban cable car, offering breathtaking views of the city and its mountains. You'll get a glimpse into the daily lives of the citizens of La Paz from a new perspective. After the cable car ride, you'll visit the artistic and bohemian neighborhood of Sopocachi and make your way to Plaza Murillo, where you'll find the Legislative Palace, Government Palace, and Cathedral. You'll also get to taste the famous Bolivian salteña sandwich.
Your tour will end with a visit to the exteriors of the Basilica of San Francisco, a stunning example of Baroque-Mestizo style, and the Calle de las Brujas, where you can admire Andean handicrafts and offerings to 'Pachamama'. Finally, you'll have the chance to enjoy the best of traditional Bolivian cuisine presented in a unique and innovative way at the La Rufina restaurant.
Restaurant La Rufina is open from Wednesday-Friday (12:30-15:00/19:00-22:00) and Saturday/Sunday (12:00-16:00).
