Welcome to Chile! Upon arrival, you will get picked up at the airport in Santiago and transferred to your hotel.
Today you will enjoy a full day sightseeing tour, allowing you to discover the many different sides of Santiago. The first stop of your tour takes you to ‘El Persa Bío Bío’ located in a working-class neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city center of Santiago. This popular flea market allows you to gain a genuine insight into the authentic Chilean everyday life while browsing through an impressive array of antiques, trinkets and second-hand goods. The market also boasts a wide variety of restaurants and street food vendors where you can try all kinds of local dishes.

While exploring the lively market, you will get the chance to visit ‘Galpón Victor Manuel’, an important part of the market which has become well known for its thought-provoking urban street art. Take a look around, and you will be able to spot various intriguing murals and artworks created by renowned Chilean street artists. Your next stop takes you to the inspiring “Museo a Cielo Abierto”. This vibrant open-air museum is located in the neighborhood of San Miguel and features Chile’s largest collection of street art. You will be able to admire around 60 gigantic murals painted on various buildings that illustrate the Chilean culture and history. Become immersed in captivating stories portrayed through these artworks which aim to transform, inspire and empower its spectators. Next, you will make a stop at the General cemetery where you will get to experience the rich history of Santiago. Voted as one of the most scenic cemeteries in the world by CNN, ‘Cementerio General’ is a history enthusiast’s dream. The cemetery first opened in 1821 and is the final resting place for many influential figures from Chile’s history, including all but two Chilean presidents. Monuments range from lavish mausoleums to humble tombstones and memorials.

After visiting the cemetery, you will head to the most charming and artistic side of Santiago, the uptown neighborhoods of Lastarria and Bellas Artes featuring the Forest Park, the Fine Arts Museum and the National Library. Next, you will move on to another radically different neighborhood of Santiago; El Golf’, also nicknamed ‘Sanhattan’ due to the predominance of modern skyscrapers in the area. You will finish your tour with a visit to the spectacular Sky Costanera, the highest viewpoint in Latin America. At a height of 300 meters, you will get to experience the most impressive 360° view of Santiago.

Enjoy a 3-day stay in a historic property at the foot of the Andes mountains in Maipo Valley - an area known for producing Chile's best cabernet sauvignon. Less than an hour from Santiago the Santa Rita vineyard combines celebrated wine with tradition. Among beautiful gardens of the vineyard, you find the 19th-century landowner’s elegant house, now converted into Casa Real Hotel. The elegant country house has 16 rooms with views of the swimming pool and the sprawling gardens featuring a lagoon, black-necked swans and a Roman Bath. Besides the historic wine cellars at Santa Rita, other attractions include the Andean Museum and the much celebrated ‘Doña Paula’ restaurant (a National Monument). You can also borrow mountain bikes or indulge in a gourmet picnic in the ground. Your package includes meals, drinks, sparkling wines and premium wines, in-room welcome bottle, premium tour (chapel, cellars, Roman Bath and wine tasting exclusive for hotel guests), a private theme tasting at sunset and mountain bike rides.
You will be free to enjoy the hotel facilities at your own leisure.
At a proper time, you will be picked up for your transfer to the airport in Santiago to take your late afternoon flight to Calama.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to San Pedro de Atacama.

Enjoy a 4-day stay at Explora San Pedro de Atacama. The property was built on the Ayllu de Larache (a community of the ancient Aymara people) only a 10-minute walk away from the center of San Pedro. Its 50 rooms are designed to blend in with the landscape and feature views to the Andes Mountains and garden. During your all-inclusive stay, you will have a selection of more than 40 guided excursions to the most remote places of the impressive Atacama Desert. Explora Atacama has its own stable with horses for use during explorations, access to the Puritama Hot Springs, warm common spaces and an observatory where you can marvel at the pristine skies of San Pedro (some of the best skies in the world). You will also have 4 swimming pools, 2 outdoor Jacuzzis, 2 saunas, 2 steam rooms and a relaxation area at your disposal. Your stay includes transfers to/from Calama airport only with driver, all meals and drinks as well as à la carte activities with other hotel guests.
