The opening of the airport of Pisco (15 minutes from Paracas) for commercial flights has made possible that new carriers enter the market to operate flights over the Nasca Lines aboard modern Cessna Caravan from Paracas (only 3 ½ hours from Lima). A couple of weeks ago we did an inspection trip to the so called ‘Sur Chico‘ covering Nasca, Ica and Paracas. We were happy to see that infrastructure is improving. The hotel Majoro has become an even more charming, haven of peace and has now 86 rooms. See new pictures. We remind you that the two daily train frequencies from Cusco to Aguas Calientes are leaving now from Poroy (20 min drive from Cusco).
