Lima has a new 5* hotel. Last week Hilton officially opened its first property in the country. Its décor include some elements inspired in Lima’s architecture. Its 207 guest rooms feature woodwork reminiscent to the wooden balconies encased with lattice windows of Lima’s colonial time. The Urubamba bridge in the Sacred Valley of Cusco was heavily damaged some days ago. According to local authorities Reparation work should take approx. 3 months. Consequently excursions to Chincheros, Maras and Moray can’t be offered en route to the Sacred Valley as long as the bridge in Urubamba is not repaired. The only way to reach the Sacred Valley is via the road to Pisaq. This measure obliges to leave earlier from Cusco to reach Ollanta Station. Our executives will be informing about alternative solutions in case Chincheros, Maras or Moray are considered in their itineraries.
